Bruks Siwertell delivers next-generation road-mobile unloader to West Africa

27 Oct 2025

Bruks Siwertell has delivered a next-generation Siwertell 10 000 S road-mobile ship unloader to a returning customer in West Africa. The undisclosed operator already has extensive experience with Siwertell road-mobile unloaders and selected the same model again for its proven reliability, flexibility, and market-leading performance in cement handling.

“Good experience with a previously owned road-mobile ship unloader, which supported its operations for several years, was a key part of this new delivery,” says Jörgen Ojeda, Sales Director, Mobile Unloaders, Bruks Siwertell. “The older unit has now been refurbished and sold to another customer in southern Europe.”

Recognized worldwide for their agility and reliability, Siwertell road-mobile unloaders set the standard for efficient, environment-friendly dry bulk material handling. Their totally enclosed design eliminates spillage and virtually all dust emissions, protecting surrounding areas and preserving shipment volumes.

“This latest delivery reinforces Bruks Siwertell’s strong current position in the global cement handling sector, and underlines the continuing confidence that dry bulk handlers place in our road-mobile ship unloading equipment,” notes Ojeda.

“It also highlights the success of next-generation units, and as part of our ongoing technology developments, next-generation v2 models are about to enter production. These will offer even greater levels of connectivity and performance,” he adds.

Siwertell road-mobile unloaders can be rapidly deployed between ports, providing a flexible bulk logistics solution wherever it is needed. Next-generation units are equipped with advanced digital technology, enabling remote access and service support, particularly valuable for customers in remote or challenging locations.

“For operators in dynamic demand regions like West Africa, the combination of mobility, capacity, reliability, and environmental performance makes them an unbeatable choice,” Ojeda notes.

Delivered in July 2025, the operator’s latest diesel-powered Siwertell 10 000 S road-mobile ship unloader features a double bellows discharge system and integrated dust filters. It offers a continuous rated capacity of 300t/h for handling standard Portland cement, and can discharge vessels up to 10,000 dwt.
