The fieldbus-based electrical system, including programmable logic controllers (PLCs), is a modern system specifically developed for this type of installation. It includes an information display for alarms and current operating status, along with diagnostic and trouble-shooting data. Some information is also presented directly to the operator via the wireless remote control.
Unloaders with these advanced PLC systems have almost unlimited trouble-shooting potential, both on site and remotely, including the ability to conduct self-diagnostic system runs and software upgrades directly from Bruks Siwertell. The fieldbus system also allows for a significant reduction in cabling, in comparison to older models, throughout the equipment.
