Field Service Manager
We are looking for someone who would like to be part of our service and aftersales deliveries. The successful candidate would like to develop personnel and working methods in a changing, international environment. As a Siwertell Field Service Manager, you will have overall responsibility for both the assembly processes and the ongoing service of our equipment worldwide.
Your role
In this role, it is important that you are a supportive and committed manager, who takes an active role in personnel development, knowledge sharing and the exchange and development of the department, including, products, customer experience and working methods. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Taking ownership for the mentoring and development of supervisors and surveyors
- Engaging team members in the sale of service solutions
- Planning and following-up equipment inspections, installations and service work
- Contributing to sales processes and driving sales for maintenance and service agreements
- Budget responsibility and managing processes for producing service agreements
- Management feedback with the team in the field
- Developing working methods, processes and instructions for the department
- Cost calculations during the sales process, namely the installation of customer deliveries
About you
As a person, you are self-motivated, enterprising and committed. In addition, you possess a strong internal drive and have the ability to see solutions and achieve set goals.
You should have a technically-based educational background, in engineering, for example, and equivalent professional experience.
Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who understands how to plan their day successfully with the ability to prioritize tasks. You should have previous experience of leading and managing a team, and enjoy working together with colleagues, customers and suppliers. To succeed in this role, you should be fluent in both written and spoken English.
