Complete cement handling system

About

The terminal is designed to receive bulk cement from ships of up to 10,000 dwt. Cement is unloaded by a port-mobile ship unloader, conveyed to the storage building, reclaimed, and conveyed to two truck loading stations placed at the rear of the terminal.

In order to minimize the space requirement when not in use, the 300t/h Siwertell 10 000 S unloader is installed on a port- mobile semi-trailer, which is designed to be towed by a standard king pin truck within the terminal area.

The unloaded cement is conveyed into the storage by a system consisting of both horizontal and vertical screw conveyors, and of aeroslide conveyors, all according to Siwertell design.

In the flat storage the cement is reclaimed by a pay loader and conveyed through a reclaiming system to the truck loading stations with a maximum capacity of 200t/h.

All cement handling at the terminal is environmentally friendly, from the unloading operation throughout the conveying, storing, reclaiming and truck loading processes.
