Improved environment with Siwertell unloaders

These two ship unloaders were ordered by Port of Casablanca to increase the grain intake capacity as well as improve the port environment. With totally enclosed conveyors, Siwertell ship unloaders comply fully with these requirements

These two Siwertell unloaders primarily discharge the material from ships to conveyor belts that run parallel to the quay,  however, the unloaders are also equipped with two discharge bellows placed beneath the main beam to allow for direct transfer to trucks. 

The discharge bellows are manoeuvred from a platform placed above the main beam to allow good visibility of the discharging. 

All conveyors, screw conveyors as well as transfer chutes, are totally enclosed and provide a dust-free and clean operation, independent on type of material handled. 
To minimize the dust emissions also at the transfer points to the jetty belt and the discharge bellows for truck loading, each unloader is equipped with two separate dust filters. 

The Siwertell unloaders are operated via a radio remote control, from where the operators have easy control of the operation and different subsystems.
