With its unique screw-conveyor design and with totally-enclosed conveyors on the unloader, all requirement for a dust-free unloading without spillage could be met.
Shortly after this unloader had been put into operation it went through a successful performance test, where the unloader had to unload a minimum of 4000 tonnes of limestone from a barge of 4000 dwt, within two hours.
