Bruks Siwertell Group Reports Continued Sustainability Progress in 2025

13 May 2026

Bruks Siwertell Group has published its 2025 Sustainability Report, outlining continued progress in reducing environmental impact and strengthening responsible business practices across its global operations. The report highlights key developments during 2025, including a 59% share of renewable energy across operations and an employee Net Promoter Score (eNPS) of 21.

Across Port Technology, Biomass Technology, and Forest Technology, Bruks Siwertell continued to advance initiatives that support lower-emission operations, safer ways of working, and more transparent supply chains. Sustainability remains integrated into the Group’s strategy and execution, alongside digitalization, operational excellence, and strategic partnerships.

"Sustainability is a core driver of our long-term strategy and decision-making. In 2025, we continued turning ambitions into concrete results through technology innovation, safer workplaces, and more responsible operations across our global footprint," says Clas Gunneberg, CEO of Bruks Siwertell Group.

Environmental progress and climate ambition

Bruks Siwertell made further progress in reducing the environmental impact of its own operations and customers' value chains. Key achievements in 2025 included:

The share of renewable energy across operations increased to 59%, supporting the shift away from fossil fuels through energy-efficiency measures and renewable electricity.

Expanding Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions accounting in line with the GHG Protocol.

Embedding sustainability and circularity criteria into product development across business units.

An in-depth energy audit at FTG Cranes in Bäckefors, Sweden, identified 11 improvement measures to cut energy use, reduce emissions and improve cost efficiency. The work supports the Group’s ongoing shift away from fossil fuels through targeted energy-efficiency actions across operations.

The Group’s technologies support cleaner bulk material handling, renewable energy transitions, and sustainable forestry. Innovations such as enclosed ship loaders, energy-efficient conveyors, long-life components, and circular material solutions help cut emissions and resource consumption across product lifecycles.

Health, safety, and people at the center

Health and safety remained a top priority in 2025. Across all sites, the Group worked to build a more proactive safety culture, with the long-term goal of zero workplace accidents. A Group-wide incident and accident reporting system, wellbeing initiatives, and steps toward ISO 45001 certification all contributed to greater awareness and engagement.

Employee satisfaction also improved, with eNPS rising to 21, supported by ongoing investment in training, leadership development, and diversity and inclusion.

"A safe, inclusive, and engaging workplace is essential to long-term success," says Anna Halling, Chief Transformation Officer at Bruks Siwertell Group. "Our people play a crucial role in shaping a more sustainable future for our company and for society."

Looking ahead

With clear 2030 ambitions, covering reduced emissions, greater circularity, safer workplaces, and stronger governance, Bruks Siwertell will continue embedding sustainability into product development, supply chains, and day-to-day operations. Targets will be reviewed in 2026 to stay in step with evolving regulations and long-term objectives.
