Eric Lörd - Mechanical Project Leader

Eric Lörd is a Mechanical Project Leader based in Bjuv, Sweden. He plays a central role in driving complex engineering projects and ensuring that our customers receive technically robust, reliable solutions.

While my work spans multiple project phases rather than a single technical task, it gives me a deep understanding of how our products are designed, engineered and delivered from early specifications right through to installation and first operation.

Engineering projects from concept to operation

What I find most compelling about Siwertell products is the breadth of our range and our ability to tailor machines precisely to customer requirements. Whether it is ship unloaders, loaders or conveyor systems, each solution is unique and crafted to solve specific challenges in dry bulk handling.

I act as a link between the customer, the project team and our engineers. I am responsible for ensuring that contractual technical requirements are fulfilled and that we deliver reliable, high-quality machines, in close cooperation with sales, design, manufacturing and commissioning teams.

A role built on collaboration and technical responsibility

In my daily work, I interact with colleagues across disciplines and locations. Clear communication, structured planning and technical insight are essential but equally important is the ability to hold many moving parts together and guide them toward a successful outcome.

What motivates me most is seeing a machine develop from an initial sketch into reality. There is a genuine thrill in witnessing the first unloading or loading operation knowing that the system we have delivered is now improving efficiency, reducing environmental impact, and creating value for our customers.
