BRUKS TUBULATOR®

With more than 650 installations worldwide, BRUKS TUBULATOR® is the most modern transport system for wood chips, sawdust, wood pellets, shredded bark and other bulk materials on the market.This fully enclosed transport system lives up to the highest environmental demands for dust-free, spill-free as well as silent operation. A BRUKS TUBULATOR® has up to 40% higher capacity than comparable conventional belt conveyors. Low maintenance cost, low noise level and no need for walkways are further advantages.

The design is self-supporting up to 25m and cable support tower allows up to 75m between the supports and total conveyor lengths up to 600m.

BRUKS TUBULATOR®

The basic idea for the TUBULATOR® is that the conveyor belt runs on an air cushion created by external low-pressure fans. This means low friction and low energy consumption.

The TUBULATOR® consists of a drive unit, turning unit, and a number of intermediate sections in all-welded steel tubes and air-channels in formed steel profile. The closed design including waste conveyors in drive- and turning unit makes the TUBULATOR® totally spillage and dust free.

Drive drum with frictional material in patterned rubber and a flat gear motor. Turning unit with counterweight belt tensioning. Longer conveyers are equipped with hydraulic belt tensioning. Loading section with special designed loading chute including sealing sides in rubber material.

The modular design makes it easy to customize the TUBULATOR® to your special needs. Since there are only a few moving parts on the TUBULATOR®, the maintenance cost is low and the lifetime of the conveyor belt is long. The fact that the conveyor belt is running on an air cushion gives a low noise level. No need for walkways along the conveyor.

The structure and design of the TUBULATOR® makes the conveyor self-supporting up to 25m and when using cable support tower the distance between the foundations is up to 75m. This allows installation of long conveyors with a limited number of concrete foundations.

The TUBULATOR® is developed for transport a variety of materials in addition to wood-based materials.
